Raru operates as a marketplace connecting buyers with rare wines available through a network of trusted suppliers and collectors. The wines listed on our website are not stored or held in stock by Raru. All orders are subject to availability confirmation from private and third-party suppliers.
This marketplace is operated by independent service providers acting as freelancers under French jurisdiction. Any disputes or legal matters will be resolved under French law.
By placing a request for a wine through our website, you are initiating a non-binding inquiry. We will confirm the availability of the requested item(s) and provide you with payment and shipping details via email. A binding sales agreement will only be established once availability has been confirmed, payment has been received, and the order has been accepted by Raru.
All prices listed on the website are in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. Payment is accepted via bank transfer or credit card, and must be completed after the availability of the requested item has been confirmed by Raru.
Raru offers complimentary shipping within Europe for confirmed orders. For international orders, shipping costs will be calculated and communicated upon confirmation of availability. All shipments are made through insured carriers, and a tracking code will be provided upon dispatch. Delivery times may vary depending on location and carrier services, and Raru is not liable for delays outside of its control.
You may cancel or modify your order within 24 hours of placing your initial request, provided the wine has not been confirmed or shipped. Once the order has been processed or dispatched, cancellations or modifications may no longer be possible. Due to the nature of rare wines, all sales are final once confirmed and dispatched, unless the product arrives damaged or is lost in transit.
All orders are insured during transit. In the event of loss or damage during shipping, Raru will either replace the item or issue a full refund if a replacement is not available. Any claims for damaged or lost items must be made immediately upon receipt of the shipment.
Raru makes every effort to verify the provenance and authenticity of the wines listed on our marketplace. However, as Raru is not the direct owner of the wines, we rely on the accuracy of information provided by our suppliers. By purchasing through our platform, you acknowledge that Raru is not liable for any inaccuracies regarding a wine’s provenance or authenticity unless expressly guaranteed.
Raru acts solely as an intermediary between the buyer and the supplier. We provide no warranties, express or implied, regarding the quality, authenticity, or condition of the wines offered. Any claims arising from these aspects must be directed to the supplier, with Raru facilitating communication where necessary.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably through direct communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Portugal. Portuguese law shall govern all matters relating to the use of the Raru marketplace and any transactions carried out through it.
Raru is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal data collected during the inquiry and purchase process will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders, providing customer service, and in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].
Raru reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the marketplace implies acceptance of the updated terms.
